En concert hier soir sur la scène du Kabardock au Port, Charlie Winston a assuré un show dynamique et envoûtant pour le plus grand bonheur du public.
Avec 400 000 albums vendus en un an, le succès de Charlie Winston est incontestable et sur scène, l’artiste en met plein les yeux et les oreilles à ses fans venus en nombre l’admirer et apprécier son son hier soir, sur la scène de Kabardock.
Ce soir, l’artiste britannique remet ça à la Halle des Manifestations. Déjà complet avec 4500 billets vendus, ce concert promet d’être chaud et ennivrant.
Fils et frère de musicien, Charlie Winston est tombé très tôt dans la musique. A 17 ans, il entrait en fac de Musique à Londres où il pratique alors tous les genres de rock grunge au reggae dub, sans oublier un voyage initiatique en Inde où il s’est familiarisé avec les tablas.
Son premier album "Sur le Chemin" alias "Make Way" sort sur le label Real World de Peter Gabriel. C’est la française Catherine Ringer qui le présente au label Atmosphériques et Charlie Winston enregistre alors "Hobo" avec le concours de Mark Plati.
Le clip "Like a Hobo" séduit immédiatement et se retrouve en tête de liste des téléchargements légaux. Son album Hobo sorti en janvier 2009 entraîne Charlie Winston sur le chemin de la popularité et depuis un an, le succès de cet artiste est sans faille.
Cet auteur-compositeur-interprète anglais aurait choisi son patronyme en réunissant les noms des Charlie Chaplin et Winston Churchill.
Sa musique profondément sincère n’a pas fini de séduire et son concert hier au Kabardock aura été une vraie réussite, les spectateurs sont ressortis sur un petit nuage... Effet Charlie Winston oblige !
