Un look facial bien inhabituel
Uma Thurman a créé la surprise en dévoilant son nouveau visage à l’avant-première de la série "The Slap" à New-York. Héroïne de la réalisation, c’est avec un nouveau visage que la jeune femme est apparue laissant les invités et spectateurs bouche bée. Regard impénétrable, pommettes lissées et bouche carmin ont fait de la star une personne méconnaissable. Selon le Daily Mail, la star n’aurait pas eu recours à la chirurgie esthétique pour cette métamorphose. Le tout repose sur un maquillage inhabituel dont une bouche très rouge et pas de mascara et l’ensemble marqué par des cheveux lâchés.
Uma Thurman, son retour sur le petit écran
L’actrice signe son retour sous les projecteurs avec "The Slap", la prochaine série de NBC. Un projet au petit écran après son rôle deux ans auparavant dans "Nymphomaniac" de Lars Von Trier. Dans la série, l’actrice incarne Anouk, une femme de 44 ans qui est attirée par un garçon de seize ans son cadet. Celui-ci sera interprété par Penn Badgley.
"The Slap" est une adaptation de la série australienne, éponyme elle basée sur le roman de Christos Tsiolkas,"La Gifle". Au cours d’un goûter d’anniversaire, un enfant est giflé par un des adultes présents à la fête. Un geste qui bouleversera leur relation.
