Suspectés d’avoir abusé de huit jeunes adolescents au Népal, deux Français ont été arrêtés par la police népalaise.
Le Népal étant de plus en plus ciblé par le tourisme sexuel, deux homme âgés de 38 et 42 ans, originaires de Loire-Atlantique et de l’Isère, connus de la justice française pour des faits de pédophilie pensaient pouvoir se livrer à leur pratique sans souci. Mais, le 22 juillet, ils ont été arrêtés par la police locale, au pays de l’Himalaya.
Soupçonnés d’avoir profité de huit jeunes garçons âgés de 10 à 14 ans, ils ont été placés en garde à vue, selon Le Parisien. L’ambassade de France a affirmé leur détention à la prison centrale de Katmandou pour vingt-cinq jours, assurant qu’ils peuvent jouir de leur droit, excepté la possibilité de recevoir des visites.
La presse locale a indiqué que les deux hommes offraient des cadeaux, de l’argent aux adolescents contre des moments dans leur chambre. Des policiers du Bureau central d’investigation (BCI) essayent de réunir les preuves après les témoignages de huit garçons avant de les présenter à un juge.
Ce dernier décidera ensuite d’une première incarcération préventive, mais pour le moment, aucune ne date n’a été communiquée. En tout cas, ils risquent quinze ans de prison au Népal.
Déjà connu pour des faits de pédophilie au Canada, les deux Français étaient membres d’une association qui facilitait les échanges entre pédophiles, interdite dans le pays. Ils auraient aussi participé à des débats sur des forums qui recommandent la "liberté pédophile". En 2004, l’un d’eux aurait été condamné pour agression sexuelle en France.
En septembre 2017, Christophe Guilloux était arrivé au Népal, puis son complice Denis Chupau l’avait rejoint en octobre. Il était pourtant déjà dans la capitale dès avril 2017. L’enquête sur leur présumé agissement continue.
